Identifying and tracking animals in captivity
Our solution is to address the issue wildlife trafficking using a web application that can involve the community to report to the authority so that they are able to identify and trace animals using unique ID number, bio-data, natural body marking like tattoos, life history, sex etc. Also to come up with a local database on all captive wildlife, local e surveillance, microchip, GPS, community reporting, notification location timing
All animals in captivity must have a microchip in its body in order to be tracked.
Access of internet by users of the app.
All animal species involved have unique features ( DNA, facial, body patches)
Toll free numbers provided in absence of internet.
All wildlife is expected to be in a gazetted area.
Both live animals and animal products are traded.
The biggest barrier addressed will be improving communication and relationship between the community and the authorities. This project will enable data caption on captive animals is more vigilant
