Demystifying laws; we're addressing the difficulty in easily searching animal trafficking laws.

Our Proposal

A web application that allows users to easily filter through animal trafficking regulations by allowing them to search by species or country.

recruiting experts and researchers to update our information is a possibility.

all APIs we will use are up-to-date and reliable.

our product will take no more than 2 years to publish.

we can implement user sign-ups and Google data tracking.

we can eventually incorporate image recognition software (take or upload a picture of any animal as a means of searching).

Constraints to Overcome

Maintaining an up-to-date version of international and national animal regulations has been difficult, but we believe that implementing a peer-reviewed, wiki-style expert authentication process will allow information to be shared in an updated, community-involved way.

Current Work

We will continue to enhance our site through iterations and reach a functional, non-static prototype.
