Protecting the big cat 'the cheetah', from being sold to bad people.

The Problem

Identifying and Tracking Animals in Captivity

Our Proposal

A web and mobile-ready solution that identifies and tracks cheetahs in captivity in a bid to combat illegal wildlife trafficking. The solution uses Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and  API's technology to monitor Cheetahs both in legal and non-legal captivity in order to enhance the DNA databases already in use.  The solution has the ability to track the sellers online, the trade along routes based on information fed to the system, and the face recognition, which is being done for chimps and has proven quite helpful to assist with the identification and quantification of the trade. The solution enables easy monitoring of online trade in cyber-marketplace and social media hence tracking the trade routes of the illegal cheetah trafficking activities.

We Assume that...

Be able to fully combat cheetah traficking

Constraints to Overcome

Breaking the trafficking chain of cheetahs

Current Work

Current Needs

Funding to enable us to access the Google APIs and Machine Learning APIs
